Academic Decathlon Takes on the World Scholar’s Cup in Ljubjana

Our Academic Decathlon team took their talents global this July, competing in the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round in Ljubljana, Slovenia! From writing and debate to collaborative challenges, our Lancers rose to the occasion, earning awards, recognition, and unforgettable experiences on the world stage.

Grace Gardner ’26 and Amirah Tran ’27 brought home multiple gold medals and team trophies across debate, writing, and academic challenges.

Jocelyn Chiu ’26 earned top finishes in writing and debate, with medals in Literature, Art & Music, and Social Studies, and recognition as a Silver Overall Scholar.

Noah An ’26 and Roy Wu ’26 secured both team and individual trophies, with standout gold medals in Literature, Art & Music, and Collaborative Writing.

Evan Loh ’26 was named Champion CollaboWriter and achieved top-10 finishes in Literature, Social Studies, and Science & Technology.

Rounding out the accomplishments, Mr. Dan Reeves was recognized for his Distinguished Service as a Debate Adjudicator, lending his expertise to support this year’s global competition.
