Last month, we hosted the 2024 “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Language Competition for Elementary and Secondary School Students, part of the Los Angeles Southwestern U.S. Regional Preliminary. Organized by our Center for Linguistic Exploration, the competition welcomed around 30 talented students from the region, all eager to demonstrate their Chinese language skills and cultural knowledge.

Congratulations to our ninth graders, Eula Johnson ’27 and Sabella Garbarino ’27, who earned second and third prizes in the competition! Their successes showcase their dedication and the strong spirit of learning that defines our newest pathway program. We’re excited to continue fostering a deep appreciation for Chinese culture and language learning here at La Salle.
