For the month of May, we embraced our commitment to mental health and wellness with a series of uplifting activities for Mental Health Awareness Month. From Hula lessons with Ms. Hakanen and gentle yoga with Ms. Shaw to mindfulness meditation with Coach Tui in our serene Amphitheater, we focused on nurturing our minds and bodies in the community.
The creativity flowed at our slime-making station hosted by the Mental Health Awareness Club and rock painting with Ms. Williams, sparking joy and relaxation. The highlight? Meeting the adorable mini therapy horses, adopting balloon therapy dogs, and spending time with Maverick, our beloved therapy dog.
