Note: If you registered your athlete for the 2024 -2025 school year prior to June 6, 2023 it will not transfer over to the new clearance platform. You will be required to register them again. This will also include uploading the physical again.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. If an athlete participated in a Fall and/or Winter sport please ensure the Spring sport of your choice has been added to their HomeCapus.com profile. Do not create a new profile.

2. For those who received an email from HomeCampus.com regarding an expired physical, please upload an updated physical to the current profile as soon as possible.

3. For those who did not participate in a Fall and/or WInter sport please use the attached HomeCampus.com instructions and create a profile.

In this process there will be three mandatory uploads a (copy of the athlete’s medical insurance card, a manually signed and dated Confirmation Message page found at the last step of the registration process, a current physical with the family page completed and manually signed and dated by the athlete and parent/guardian. Additionally, a physician must complete the physician’s page of the physical. Note that it is imperative the date of the physical and the contact information for the physician are legible).

4. Note for all athletes: if the file is incomplete or the required documentation has not been provided, the application will be denied.

5. For those who transferred to La Salle for the 2024 – 2025 school year, please ensure the Athletic Department has received and processed your CIF Transfer Form.

For questions, please email Assistant Athletic Director Scott Wiard at swiard@lasallehs.org.

Lancer's Pride

High school athletics has become a very competitive arena for all schools. La Salle understands that and will not be left behind. Lancer coaches essentially work with our programs on a year-round basis to prepare for league play with the goal of venturing deep into the CIF playoff rounds. La Salle is proud to offer an athletic program fielding 23 sports that enables our student-athletes to participate on a variety of teams throughout the school year.

Lancer athletics enjoys a long tradition of success in the San Gabriel Valley boasting 23 CIF Championships, 18 CIF Runner-Up titles and over 190 varsity league championships. Our most recent individual CIF title was hoisted by Daniel De LaTorre by capturing the Division IV title in boys’ cross country. Daniel also claimed La Salle’s only individual state title in 2012 by winning the Division IV cross country crown. The girls’ volleyball program captured their second and back-to-back CIF team title by claiming the 2013 Girls’ volleyball has been in the CIF finals three consecutive years and won two titles. The future is bright for Lancer athletics and the expectations are high.

Parking for on campus athletic events

Parking is prohibited in our campus lot off of Michillinda as well as all side streets.

Off street event parking is available at the following designated locations: Sierra Madre United Methodist Church (695 W. Sierra Madre Blvd. at Michillinda Avenue) Trinity Presbyterian Church (3740 E. Sierra Madre Blvd. at Hastings Ranch Road) and Church of the Nazarene (3700 E Sierra Madre Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107).

Below is a list of some of the featured athletic facilities at La Salle.

Kohorst Field

It was in the fall of 2002 when La Salle High School received the news from Monrovia High School that we would no longer be able to use their field for our home football games which meant that the only option available to play our home football games was, literally, at home.

The obstacle of bringing football “home” was the undersized and poorly maintained practice field on the School’s campus that would not support interscholastic football competition. At the encouragement of Shelley Allen and Bob Kohorst ’71, the School assembled a team of volunteers led by Bob and Shelley to investigate the installation of artificial turf and a tartan-surface track. Bob and Shelley spent countless hours researching the options for artificial turf, and once a vendor was selected, Bob and Shelley proceeded to lead the fundraising effort to install the $1.1 million facility. Their energy, drive, dedication, and commitment ensured that both the field and the funding would be in place so that the JV Football team played their home game in front of a standing-room-only crowd of fans on September 12, 2003. In recognition of their amazing Lancer loyalty and to thank them for the critical role they played in bringing football home, in November 2009, La Salle honored Bob and Shelley by naming the football field “KOHORST FIELD”.
